ABOUT amanda

I’m an award-winning, experienced freelance writer providing content for both B2C and B2B clients. I provide clean, narrative-driven copy for native advertising, trade journals, newsletters, magazines and newspapers. Clients include The New York Times, The Washington Post, MONEY magazine, ESPN, The Wall Street Journal and many others.

I bring years of experience to the table and cut my teeth in medical trade journals while freelancing for my local newspaper. As the publishing and content industries evolve, I stay up-to-date with constant immersion in continuing education. I bring a passion for storytelling to the table, no matter who the client.

When I’m not writing, I’m often outside hitting the trails with my four-legged running partner. Running and writing go together.

editor feedback

It is such a pleasure to work with Amanda. Amanda is skilled at tackling complex topics and stories — not an easy task writing for a group of transport and supply chain professionals. I can always count on Amanda to meet deadlines, take on quick-turn assignments and submit well-reported stories. I highly recommend Amanda for any of your reporting and writing needs.
— Shefali Kapadia, senior editor, Transport Dive and Supply Chain Dive
Amanda’s work stands out because she cares so deeply about her stories. There’s no such thing as too many sources or too many revisions for Amanda. She’s always there to dive in, wanting to do justice for the issues and subjects she’s passionate about.
— Abigail Wise, Outside magazine managing editor
Amanda’s pitches are always spot-on, interesting and well thought-out, and then her copy comes in on time, well-written and with little to no editing required. In short, she’s every editor’s dream writer!
